    Paul Gannon – I have just recently read ” The Way it Was ” your book of Connemara memories and it certainly reflected a way of life sadly gone for forever. It was also sad to realise that many of the contributors will have passed on so having their stories is all the more special. I just wanted to say thank you for a wonderful publication . I myself was born in Galway City but left Ireland in 1970 and have lived abroad since then. My aunt – Una Flanagan – was the Chemist in Carraroe for many years.
